Marrakesh , Morocco | February 15 - 21, 2027

Welcome to
Marrakesh, Morocco

Welcome to Marrakesh, Morocco! A timeless cultural crossroads where the grandeur of imperial palaces meets the warmth of Moroccan hospitality. Set at the foot of the Atlas Mountains in the heart of the country, Marrakesh has long been a beloved destination for travelers from around the world, offering ochre-walled ramparts, labyrinthine souks, and serene gardens shaded in palm and bougainvillea. Known as the Red City, Marrakesh invites visitors to lose themselves in the storied medina, savor fragrant tagines and glasses of sweet mint tea, and take in the rhythm of Jemaa el-Fnaa as it comes alive at dusk. Beyond its breathtaking heritage, the city's flourishing arts scene and genuinely welcoming spirit make it a haven for discovery and wonder. Marrakesh embraces you with timeless grace and unforgettable experiences.

Flight Information + FAQ’s

You will fly into the Marrakesh Menara International Airport. The airport code is RAK.

Given the changes in the airline industry and the global pandemic, we encourage you to book your flights directly with the airline. If you’d like to utilize our complimentary airport transfers , make sure to book your flights for an arrival no later than 4:00pm on February 15th. Please triple-check the dates on the airline's website. You could also rent a car if you would like more freedom to explore on your own.

Once you have booked your flights, please email Cally your flight details so your transportation to the hotel can be arranged.

  • Marrakesh Menara International Airport - RAK

    • Valid passport (does not expire within 6 months of entry into Morocco)

  • No, this retreat is co-ed and we welcome anyone who is interested.

  • Not a problem! Cally is certified to teach many different types of yoga and has years of experience with first-timers. You don't need any prior experience. If you have any concerns, please contact us. We'd love to chat.

  • Nope! You can if you want to but the hotel will have all materials needed onsite.

  • This trip is for YOU, so if there's anything you don't want to do, you will not be forced to participate. Because all activities are included in the cost, we highly recommend you try each one before making a final decision, but ultimately it's your call! Please let us know if you have any concerns and we will accommodate however we can.

  • All participants must be over the age of 18.

Here are some tips:

  • If you book a flight with a layover, please pay close attention to the layover times. While no one wants to sit around the airport for hours, you also don’t want to miss your layover because of a short connection. I suggest choosing a schedule that has at least 1.5 hours on the way to your destination. On your way home, I suggest at least 2 hours to give extra time to get through immigration.

  • Some airlines provide tickets that can be changed or canceled without a fee. This costs more upfront but can be helpful in the case of unforeseen circumstances.

Packing List

Here are some recommended essentials:

  • Swimsuit

  • Lightweight rain jacket

  • Warmer coat or jacket for the early mornings and evenings

  • Footwear suitable for walking/hiking with good grip (not fashion tennis shoes)

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Sunscreen

  • Any medication you take

  • Hat

  • Sunglasses

    • eVisa apply here and pay $30 visa fee)

  • Previous convictions, unpaid child support, vaccination status, etc. could affect a person's ability to travel internationally. It is the client's responsibility to know if they can legally enter a country/territory.

  • Travel insurance is required by our company to protect you from unforeseen events. And because most medical insurance policies do not offer coverage outside the United States, we do not recommend traveling without insurance.

  • The official language of Morocco is Arabic, with Berber also widely spoken and French commonly used in business and tourism.

Morocco's currency is the Moroccan Dirham. The Dirham is a closed currency, meaning it's difficult to obtain before you arrive, so plan to exchange money or withdraw cash once you're in Morocco. For extra expenses, you can withdraw cash from ATMs (they'll handle the conversion) or use a credit card. Check with your bank about any foreign transaction fees. It's always smart to carry a bit of cash for small cafés, markets, or local vendors.

Tipping isn't mandatory in Morocco, but it's appreciated for great service. Leaving 5 to 10% at restaurants, rounding up taxi fares, or adding a little extra for tour guides is considered polite.
